August 25: Many thanks to Fords and Baumunks for a happy week. nanny left this morning for Kansas City. considerably more cheerful and much stronger than a week ago. Now we are ready to head back to Ohio. We never made it to New England, but instead we got to know the Baumunks – senior and junior – Fred, Ann, Jim, Peg + Bill helped bring in the Eby cows + collect eggs – Ann helped at the concession stand and got reacquanted with Sarah – all in all, a delightful vacation. We leave with happy memories and a tape of Barney Google to bring them back if we start to forget.
