Thank you again → second year in a row of awesomeness!
Highlight of the weekend for me was playing frisbee in a canoe. It actually was way more fun than it sounds.
Can’t wait for round three next year

Annual Paul-clan visit at an end. Paul & Casey were joined by Lakota and 2 of Casey’s friends, Julia & Merrick. This was Julia’s second visit. We arrived a week ago, taking 2 days from Chicago. A busy week. Hot & sunny w/ one rain day. The kids boated, fished, gamed, cooked and hung out. Julia caught a twelve inch bass which was released. The kids made a gourmet breakfast one morning – rolled french toast stuffed with Nutella & strawberries. Their dinner was deluxe grilled cheese. One day trip to Knoebel’s, of course! Merrick is a killer Scrabble player. We played almost every night. One night he scored 360! Paul got in 4 good bike rides, one with the Eagles Mere Wheelmen, the other 3 solo expeditions. We drove to Sharp Top for some sightseeing and then took a round about way home to hit a few other scenic spots accessible only by gravel forest roads – Hoagland Branch Vista & Bear Wallow Pond. Fantastic week as always

Lots of kayaking too! Isaiah

Steven came for a week.
8-28-16: I’ve been here for 28 days—one lunar cycle. I picked up Daniel in Albany on my way here, took a tour down to Philly to deliver Daniel and Caroline to the airport, but mostly relaxed, hiked, kayaked, and did some tractoring. Nice to have the time to spend here! Seera is getting old and has a noticeable limp in her front passenger leg. This may be her last summer up here!
Adam & Seera
8/30/16: It’s taken 1½ days to pack up! Beautiful sunny day. Lovely summer with much of the family here. — on to Fall & elections — Adam built new part to small dock. Ken celebrated his 90th in May. All children attended.
