Mon 5/31/21: Coldest Memorial Day in decades,
still sweetly serene, sipping our lemonades.
Drove here thru the fog, wind, and rain,
under cover of cloud and mountainous terrain,
with a Celestial wounded knee,
regailed w/ pancakes, so buttery!
Adventurers to Ivy Island to build a shed,
& expanded the deck, with trees long dead!
Games of Risk, Uno, and Catan,
and an afternoon of more than one relaxing yawn,
Remembering and cherishing the light of our veterans – as the breaking dawn.

– Found a snake skin, 18 inches long, at the head of the dock.
– Kids completed K, 5th, 8th, 10th grades! So proud of them.
